Weekly Sprint
Every week I seem to rush to the finish line barely ahead of the deadline. Two lines, one you want to cross, the other you don’t. At my church there is a program called Kids 4 Truth where kids memorize bible verses and get patches on standards as rewards. My job is to make a tracker for the patches, so that when they reach milestones they get a little prize. This week was the final week, and I only just managed to complete the last installment before tonight, working through the whole afternoon. Which is why, consequently, I didn’t manage to write this post before now.
Art
I drew a little this week, on a day when I actually had some free time. Before now my creative juice tank was on empty, and all my ideas seemed drab. They still do, but not as much. The excitement is coming back in a slow trickle. I drew a couple characters, one a travel-worn lord and the other a bird-man rogue. There is also the matter of the monstrous egg, of which I have had a picture on my mind for the past four days and don’t feel as though I did it justice. Ah well, that is what practice is for.
Regeneration
Sometimes you run out of new ideas, and the old ones are boring. Now that K4T is over, I will have more time on Sunday evenings to do things, but that won’t change much, I think. My next step is to finish the rough draft of the short story, and give that to you readers to read and judge to your hearts content. I wonder if I want to just go full into the character design and creation aspect of my hobby. Most likely if I attempt to do any one thing it will end up becoming boring and I’ll just change my mind anyways. So I’ll just keep on doing what I’m doing, and see what comes of things.

I think I spelled that correctly. We have come to the end of another post, and I would much appreciate it if the myriad of Russian spam bots would gp bother someone who I don’t know. I tire of deleting their messages. At least tread the post, for goodness sakes. Stay fresh, my dudes, until next time.
