Teeth of Wise-ness

And why they aren’t. Inkbeard post #34.

Put Off

This week I procrastinated some more. I didn’t get into the Print Shop, but I did do more art instead, and hopefully this week I will find time to go. I enjoyed a nice weekend over the 4th at our family cabin, and then a not-so-nice weekend of recovering from the extraction of my Wisdom Teeth. Talk about karma.

Buckle Up

To be honest, I have been having trepidation about going to the Print Shop, because I don’t know if they can meet my needs. My first visit (and second) were not exactly encouraging, because I wasn’t really sure what I even needed. Now I know, but although I know how to get it on my printer, I don’t know if they do. (However, they are professionals, so perhaps my lack of faith is unwarranted).

At any rate, I did art (as stated above and seen below). During vacation, I did an inking on Procreate of a fantastical creature, which I’m keeping in my back pocket for future emergencies (Does it count as an inking if it was digital?). This weekend while recuperating, my brother made me a mixtape with songs from the genre of Progressive Rock, and so I decided to make a CD cover for the case he gave me. Below is the result. Originally, it was an analogue drawing on smooth Bristol, but when I got to coloring I decided I wasn’t a fan of how it was going, so I scanned it and started over with a tracing. It is a lot, but I think I did well by following the style I was aiming for.

Pondering Molars.

This being my first ever surgery, worries and concerns fill my constant state. I am eternally thankful to God for giving me parents who can tell me when I am fretting for naught (and of course I am also thankful to my parents).

Preop, I requested that the doctors salvage my upper wisdom teeth, since they would come out intact. They did so, and after cleaning and sanitizing them, they sit on my dresser. And now I face a challenge: what on earth am I supposed to do with two teeth? My girlfriend already denied the idea of turning them into earrings; I don’t really wear jewelry so anything for me would be a waste, but I could always just keep them in a jar or something. Maybe start a collection of teeth and ask people if they would give some of theirs.

Nah.

Farewells

I hope you all enjoyed the vigorous art and the challenging dilemma. Comment on ideas for the teeth, as I am very interested to gain some insights in that venture. Please spread the word of Inkbeard’s blog to all friends and family, and I will also do that. Remember to sign up for the Newsletter, and maybe comment some ideas on things I can do to spice up the email.

Many thanks,

Inkbeard

Use the teeth for a rear view mirror dangly thing in your car

    You crack me up.

Go onto Office Depot website and see if you can upload and order what you’re looking for. I just ordered a giant tablecloth sized coloring sheet for $9
